Position Details
As a part-time Advisor Support Associate, you would provide support to the Owner / Lead Financial Planner, and to clients of the firm.
Preferred start date: December 1, 2025 (flexible for the right candidates)
Monday to Friday from 8AM to noon (20hrs per week total)
$28 per hour, with bonus potential and health benefits

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Financial Planner and Owner of the firm, while managing tasks independently. They will be primarily in charge of processing daily investment transactions, preparing documentation and various forms, office management tasks, and following through client service items with care and excellent attention to detail.

What will you do day-to-day?
Process investment transactions for clients of the firm, including: contributions, withdrawals, transfers, and pre-authorized contributions, and closely keep track of transactions to completion
Follow up on incoming investment transfers, pending transactions, and various administrative requests with various financial institutions, our investment dealer back-office, and key suppliers of the business
Prepare documentation for investment and insurance related transactions, in Investment Centre and/or Adobe PDF, such as: new investment accounts, beneficiary and address changes, changes to insurance policies, etc.
Provide great client service via the phone and email, and keep excellent records of correspondence, progress on tasks, logging all client activity in the firm's CRM
Handle office management tasks including: incoming and outgoing mail and packages; keeping inventory; bookkeeping in Quickbooks Online; light office cleaning duties; digital filing in client folders.
Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Secondary school graduation is a minimum requirement
Post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, or other administrative field, together with previous related work experience, is an asset
Investment license (MFDA/CICO) is considered an asset (not at all required)
